Greetings and Salutations from Post 496. I would like to welcome you to the greatest Post around. I grew up coming to this Post as both of my parents were very active. I can always recall how this was a place that represented family. This is truly a place that represents a strong family bond. It is very important to be a member of the American Legion so we may continue to support those that supported or are currently supporting America. Lest we forget the sacrifices we have made to truly call ourselves veterans. The American Legion is one of the nation’s largest veteran’s organizations around. We are committed to youth programs, veteran’s benefits and rights, patriotism, and community. The American Legion not only belongs to its members, but also to the community we serve.
Our Post is filled with many activities. I encourage you to take the time and navigate through our website and see what wonderful events the Legion, Auxiliary and SAL’s have to offer. We have Friday night dinners, Prime Rib night, H & H taco night (our kitchen crews do a fantastic job), music most Friday nights, dancing and generally a lot of fun. Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to any one of our Post Officers, or even give the friendly bartender a call.
